After your event ends, it's great to gather information from attendees on their experience, and input on improvements for future events. We recommend creating a quick survey for each of your events to share with attendees post-event.
While Gradual does not have a native survey option, the platform can send an email that includes a link to your survey to all users who actually attended the event.
Enabling the Post-Event Survey Email
You must first create a survey form (e.g. Google Form) and include that link when enabling this email.
Navigate to the event dashboard and to the 'Emails tab'
Check the box under 'Post-Event Survey' and enter the link to your survey form
Save your work
Once enabled, the email will send to attendees who logged in or checked into the event at the end of the event. The system uses the end date and time from General Info in the event dashboard.
Example of Email
This would be branded to your community, and 'Testing Emails' would be the event title.
Dynamic Event Data in Survey URL
We've recently added an optional feature to better track and map event data to survey results in your survey platform. Gradual can now add event metadata to the survey URL so survey results can be tracked back to the correct event and attendees.
Reach out to the Gradual team if you'd like to enable this feature.
Example of the URL parameter
The system can append a URL parameter on the survey URL to include the event slug, allowing your team to map results to the correct event in your survey platform.
Survey URL entered in event dashboard:
https://survey.gradual.com/form/XYZ
Gradual adds URL parameter to identify specific event:
https://survey.gradual.com/form/XYZ?gradualEvent={eventSlug}
