Community Contributions: Visibility & Customization
Badging and contribution recognition in your community can be customized to fit your branding and reflect your community’s recognition and awards plan.

This feature must be enabled by the Gradual team before the settings below will appear in your dashboard. Reach out to the Gradual team if you’d like this feature enabled.
Visibility
From the dashboard, you can toggle on or off the visibility badges, the contributions listed on profiles, or the entire feature.
Visibility of the entire feature
- When ON: All contributions and any enabled badge(s) will appear on contributors' profiles
- When OFF: No badges or contributions will appear on any profiles

If you'd like to show contributions and recognition of the events and content by contributors, but not badges:

Badge Image
This is the graphic that appears as a small icon in the profile, and in the pop-up that appears when a user hovers over the badge.
Customizing Graphic
Change the graphic to fit your branding in the dashboard by navigating to Settings → Customization → Community Contributions → Edit
The graphic is recommended as a PNG, 360x360 px and up to 5 MB
Revert Back to Default
If you find that you’d like to revert a badge back to the default graphic, you will navigate to the badge, to the Edit page, and ‘Revert to Default’ in the badge image.
Badge Name
This is what titles the Badge on the contributor’s profile and appears in the pop-up when a user hovers over the badge. Change the name to fit your community's verbiage in the dashboard by navigating to Settings → Customization → Community Contributions → Edit
This name can be no more than 15 characters
Badge Description
This description appears in a pop-up when a user hovers over the badge and describes what the badge is awarding. Change the name to fit your community's verbiage in the dashboard by navigating to Settings → Customization → Community Contributions → Edit
This description can be no more than 75 characters
