Manually set content publish date
Updated over a week ago

Part of growing your community will be publishing current content and making it accessible for members after your events. Gradual automatically lists content on the homepage and content page by 'Most Recent' (versus 'Most Popular') to encourage users to stay up-to-date on the most current content. This default sort also enables you as the admin to sort and shuffle the content you want to be promoted first, by manually adjusting the publish date.

Backdate and edit publish date

  1. From your community dashboard, navigate to Videos on the left hand side menu. Select the video that you’d like to edit the date on, and hit the 'Edit' icon on the right hand side.

  2. In the field ‘Published Time' manually change it to reflect the preferred date. Select 'Submit' in the upper right hand side.

  3. Unpublish the video, and then re-Publish to see the reflected updated time and sorting.

    • 💡 Pro Tip: You can also use this to promote certain content as the default sorting is 'Most recent'. Setting the published date to today (or most recent) will sort that content first.

Please note that users can re-sort by most popular by selecting 'Popular' (versus 'Latest') or select the type of content from the drop-down on the right-hand side of the content list.
