Your members can earn and accumulate points for contributions made to the community, and redeem those engagement points for rewards. Customize the contributions tracked, badges offered, and redemption values so your community members are celebrated for their engagement and rewarded with valuable items related to the community.
Contributions
Preset Contributions
Points can be logged for preset activities like event participation, speaking at an event, authoring content, or posting in the forum. Decide each contribution's point value, and once enabled, these contributions will automatically log for members.
Custom Contributions
Customize badges and contributions that apply to your community like ambassador or referral programs, and log when members make contributions and earn points for those custom activities and badges.

These upgrades to the contribution feature were released on December 15, 2024. Members' contributions before that date may not be accounted for and point values may not appear for previous badges and contributions.
Reach out to the Gradual team to bulk upload point values, or manually add them by following these steps.
Contributor Page
Contributors are featured and ranked on a leaderboard, and profiles throughout the community showcase a member's badge(s) and current lifetime accrued points.

Contributor Rules Page
Members can reference the contribution rules set by community admins by navigating to the Contribution Rules page. They can browse the available badges or contributions, how to earn them, and if there are any points assigned to the actions.
This page is accessible from the Contributor menu or their profile drop-down in the upper right.
Points & Rewards
Assign point values to engagement activities and loyalty badges so members can accumulate points, climb the leaderboard, and redeem points for rewards.
Build a rewards database for your contributors to redeem points for prizes. You can offer physical items, digital items, or a combination of the two. Set the point value for items and enable a storefront Reward center for loyal contributors to shop and redeem their points for valuable items.
