Gradual supports check-in with on-demand PVC plastic badge printing at your in-person events to offer an even more elevated experience for your conference attendees. This application of the Gradual Check-In app & badge printing is more complicated; it involves additional configuration, supplies and hardware, and requires on-site event support from the Gradual team.

This comes at an additional cost and involves a longer timeline so reach out to the team as soon as possible to start the conversation.

Due to the addition of additional configuration, ordering, and logistics

the Gradual event support contract must be confirmed

at least 8 weeks before your event.

Elements of Event Check-In Support

Badges

Configuring your badge designs and facilitating the badge card order is included in the contracted support.

The PVC plastic badges are larger card badges that can be designed to match your company and event's branding. They can be double-sided, full-color and offer a more durable option for your event.

The PVC plastic badges are cards that are 3.5” wide x 5.5" high, and 24 mil thick. They can be printed with a single punch hole at the top for single-clasp lanyards, or a double punch hole at the top for two-clasp lanyard designs.

Badge Design

Following a designated template, you can design badges to feature attendees' information that is mapped from their accounts.

These are the fields/values on the attendees' accounts that are available to map onto the badge:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Company

  • Title

  • QR Code (links to the users' profile in the Gradual Go event mobile app)

  • Attendee Type - The current options for this are:

    • 'Attendee'

    • 'Guest'

    • 'Speaker'

    • 'Host'

    • 'Staff'

    • 'Sponsor'

    • 'Press'

We cannot support customization or adding data to map to the badges at this time.

Hardware

All hardware needed for on-site check in and badge printing is included in the contracted support.

The Gradual team will have all hardware including printers, ribbon ink, PC laptop, iPads and stands organized and shipped to the event.

Team Support

On-site Gradual staff is included in the contracted support.

Gradual support staff will attend and assist in the setup and management of the printers and app. They will also provide on-site training to the event team on how to use the check-in app and kiosks and be the main point of contact for troubleshooting during the event.

The contracted support does not include event attendee support beyond check-in, or event tasks outside the scope of badge printing. T
