Courses: Text Content Lessons

Rich text, written article lessons can now be offered as part of the courses feature

Updated today

As community admins, you can now offer written text content in your courses. Participants can read articles as part of the coursework and track their progress in the study room.

If you'd prefer to offer video content lessons, check out this resource.

Dashboard and Admin Work

Admins can create text content lessons as part of the course, adding multiple articles to the course as lessons and organizing them by chapter. All of the participants' efforts and progress are tracked and available in the course's dashboard.

Add or edit a text content lesson to your course

  • Follow the steps outlined here to create a course in your course catalog in the dashboard that includes text content lesson(s).

  • Follow the steps here to add a text content lesson to the course.

Text Content Lesson

The text content editor in course lessons is similar to the new blog editor and provides rich text options, images, videos, code blocks and more.

Participant Work & Completion

Members can easily access courses and these lessons from the courses tab in the main community. Participants can read the articles, chapter by chapter, from their computer browser or mobile device. Enrollees are trusted to read the entirety of the article to complete the lesson, but must complete the entirety of the chapters to complete the course.
