Club Events & Content: Promoting to the community level

By default, events & content built within the club will only be visible and allow for registrations from within the chapter or club page, not from the main home pages. But, you can set each event or each content piece to be visible and promoted at both the club and community level, though.

Promote to the community level

If you want the asset to appear both in the club, and at the community level (on homepage, events page and content page) you can promote it from within the club dashboard. For events, this allows all community members to register to attend, not just club members.

  1. Select the event or content piece you'd like to promote

  2. Click the Action button in the upper right hand side of the page

  3. From the drop down select 'Promote to the community level' from the drop down

Now the event or content pieces will appear within the club, and at the community level on the homepage, content page or the events page.

Demote from the community level

If you want the reverse this and only show the event or content within the club, you can demote from the community level.

  1. Select the event or content piece you'd like to promote

  2. Click the Action button in the upper right hand side of the page

  3. From the drop down select 'Demote from the community' from the drop down

Deny Promotion

As a dashboard admin, you can deny club admins from being able to promote events and content to the community level. This will remove that option for those users added as club admins at any level.


Move to the Community level

Dashboard admins can now move events that were created at the community level to the club by following these steps.
