Where to find viewership data from member views to visitor views in the dashboard for videos, blogs, resources, collections and events

See and track the views to the landing pages of your content pieces, content collections, event pages, and more from your dashboard.

Views in Gradual are tracked and logged by the system when a user visits the landing page for the content piece or event. Users are tracked if they are logged in as members, and if they are visiting.

Video Views

A video view in your Gradual community is tracked when a user visits the video page.

From the Dashboard - Viewers tab

From the video's dashboard page, admins and those with contributor or content access can see all the views on the video since January 1, 2025, and when they occurred. This includes views by visitors who are not logged in, and members who are logged in. Detailed information on the viewer is provided if the user was logged in.

Note: This data is available from January 1, 2025 to today.

From the Dashboard - Content Report

From the dashboard, admins can generate a content report to see views of all content pieces (including all videos) from the Content report. Learn more about this report here.

From the Dashboard - Content Viewers Report

From the dashboard, admins can generate a content viewers report to see who viewed the video, and when since January 1, 2025. Learn more about this report here.

On the Front End - Video Page

On the front end, users can see the total number of unique views to the video page since it was published.

This cannot be hidden and only appears on video content pieces, not on blogs, resources, or collection pages.

Blog & Resource Views

A blog or resource view in your Gradual community is tracked when a user visits the blog/resource page.

From the Dashboard - Viewers tab

From the blog's dashboard page, admins and those with contributor or content access can see all the views on the blog page since January 1, 2025, and when they occurred. This includes views by visitors who are not logged in and members who are logged in. Detailed information on the viewer is provided if the user was logged in.

Note: This data is available from January 1, 2025 to today.

From the Dashboard - Content Report

From the dashboard, admins can generate a content report to see views of all content pieces (including all blogs) from the Content report. Learn more about this report here.

From the dashboard, admins can generate a content viewers report to see who viewed the blog, and when, since January 1, 2025. Learn more about this report here.

External Content Views

An external content view in your Gradual community is tracked when a user visits the landing page the external content piece.

From the Dashboard - Viewers tab

From the external content's dashboard page, admins and those with contributor or content access can see all the views on the page since January 1, 2025, and when they occurred. This includes views by visitors who are not logged in and members who are logged in. Detailed information on the viewer is provided if the user was logged in.

Note: This data is available from January 1, 2025 to today.

From the Dashboard - Content Report

From the dashboard, admins can generate a content report to see views of all content pieces (including all external link content) from the Content report. Learn more about this report here.

Collection Views

A Collection view in your Gradual community is tracked when a user visits the Collection's landing page.

From the collection's dashboard page, admins can see all the views on the blog page since January 1, 2025, and when they occurred. This includes views by visitors who are not logged in and members who are logged in. Detailed information on the viewer is provided if the user was logged in.

Event Page Views

An event view in your Gradual community is tracked when a user visits the event landing page.
