Gradual Mobile App Overview

General overview going over accessing the app, and the features within.

Updated this week

The Gradual Community Platform app gives members full access to your community from their phones (iOS and Android). Members can view events, connect with others, and engage with content on the go.

Downloading the App

Users must have the app downloaded and installed on their devices to see the agenda and speakers and engage with other attendees via messaging and networking.

The app is available on Apple and Android devices, on smartphones and tablets. It can be installed by following the links below:

App store Installation [For Apple devices]

Google Play Installation [For Android devices]

Pro Tip: Create a QR code linking to the download pages. Share it in emails, posters, or event materials to make downloads simple for attendees.

Accessing the App

  • Users must be members of your community to log in.

  • Event registration is required to view full event details.

  • To log in:

    • Open the Gradual app and select your community. (Communities can be public or hidden, requiring a code.)

    • Enter your email address to receive a four-digit access code.

    • Enter the code to access your community and any events you’re registered for.

In-App Features

Use the dropdown menu in the top-right corner to access all tabs:

Home

The community homepage displays highlights of your community. You can feature banners, enable 1:1 matches, showcase roundtables, or simply display upcoming events and shared content.

Forum

A space for community discussions. Members can create posts, comment on others, and keep conversations going outside of events.

Events

All of your community’s events—past, present, and future—are listed here. Attendees can join live events through this tab for a more interactive experience.

Content

Central hub for articles, videos, and resources. Members can engage with content by liking, commenting, or quoting posts.

Courses

Gives members access to educational courses directly within the app. Courses can be started and completed on mobile, making it easy to learn on the go.

People

A directory of community members. Members can browse profiles to see who else is in the community and make new connections.

Contributors

Tracks engagement and rewards participation. Members earn points and badges for activities such as posting, commenting, or contributing content, which can be tied to rewards.

Albums

Photo albums for your events. Members can browse shared event photos in one place.

Clubs

Displays both public clubs and those a member has joined. Clubs include their own discussions, content, and features, just like mini-communities inside the main community.

Messages

Private, one-on-one messaging between members. Event-specific chats also appear here, so conversations continue after the event.

Channels

Group messaging for members. Channels are useful for focused discussions or team-based conversations.

Important Note: The mobile app mirrors the tabs and visibility settings from your desktop community dashboard.
