The Gradual – Community Platform mobile app is available on both iPhone and Android. As a sponsor, you can use the app to increase visibility, connect with attendees, and build meaningful relationships during events.
Before the Event
Download the App

Log In
Open the app, select the community hosting the event, and sign in with your email. Learn how to login and what features are available within the app in this article.
Set Up Your Profile
Add your name, company, photo, and bio so attendees know who you are.
Make sure your contact details are accurate for follow-ups.
Set Up Your Booth
Customize your sponsor booth and assign booth hosts, this allows attendees to pull up your booth and access on the mobile app. Track analytics like booth visits, feature views, and number of visits.
Join the Event
Inside the app navigate to the event, register if you haven’t already, and click join to enter the event experience.
During the Event
Use the QR Code Scanner
Tap the QR code icon in the top-right corner of the event page.
Share your personal QR code so attendees can scan and connect.
Scan attendee QR codes to open their profile where you can save their information, or send a message for networking later.
Engage with Attendees
Open the Attendees tab within the event, or scan an attendee's QR code
From here, you can:
Request meetings to schedule one-on-one time.
Start chats for conversations.
Add private notes on attendee profiles so you can remember key details after the event.
After the Event
Review Your Notes
Review the Attendees tab and revisit notes you added during the event.
Follow Up
Use messaging to reconnect with attendees you met.
Reference the notes you saved to personalize your follow-up.
Request meetings with attendees you met with.
Accessing QR Code Scans
You can access your QR code scan history in the app under 'my scans' to see who you interacted with during the event.
Tips
Encourage attendees to scan your QR code during the event to maximize connections.
Use meeting requests to prioritize valuable conversations.
Keep notes detailed—these become your best tool for meaningful follow-up after the event.
