Customizing Sponsor & Tools Booths
Customize the Tools (community-level sponsor booths) and event sponsor booths page to fit your community, your partners, and your branding. Sign into your dashboard and select the Tools menu item from the left-hand side, or navigate into the event and to the Sponsors page to start making modifications.
If you'd like to hide the Tools menu item, or the Sponsors tab entirely from the front end of your community, you can toggle the visibility off in the upper right-hand side of the dashboard page.
💡 Pro Tip: Often you will hide the booths while you're building them, or working with Sponsor admins to build them. Once they're ready, you simply mark them as visible and attendees and members can browse the booths!
Menu Name
The menu name is the word used for the module or menu item on the left-hand side of the community or event. The default is 'Tools' at the community level, and 'Sponsors' at the event level.
Customizing Menu Name
Rename the menu item that appears on the left-hand side from 'Tools' or 'Sponsors' to whatever is best for your community and virtual event. Modify what is listed by selecting the Edit button and entering in the text you'd like to show on the front end of your community or event page.
After modifying the menu name, all the associated text will be automatically updated on both the front-end of the community and in the dashboard.
Note: The name is limited to 10 characters or letters to fit in the menu.
Page Header Title & Subtitle
The page header text includes the title given to the landing page of all sponsor booths and in Tools (community-level sponsor page), a subtitle to describe the booths to your users.
Customizing Page Header
Modify what is listed as the page title and subtitle (in Tools) by selecting the Edit button, and entering in the text you'd like to show on the front end of your sponsor booth page.
Note: The Page title is limited to 50 characters, and the Page Subtitle is limited to 150 characters.
Category Filter
Categories are listed at the top of the Sponsor or Tools page to help users filter the page content by topic or category.
Customizing Category Filter
Change the display order of all categories within the filter by selecting the 'Change Order' button, and dragging and dropping categories using the hamburger icon on the left-hand side in line with the category title.
If it's not necessary to include categories for filtering, you can hide the filter entirely and no categories will populate at the top of the page.
Tiers
Tiers allow you to organize your booths into levels; populating your featured or more prominent booths with more robust feature options at the top of the page, down to your smaller booths that simply link to the company or organization's website at the base of the Sponsors or Tools page.
Customizing Tiers
You can change the display name of each tier, or opt to hide tier names entirely by toggling off the visibility.
