The Club Settings tab in the dashboard allows you to make changes to the entire club feature in your community; set its visibility, change what it is called, make changes to management and access settings for individual clubs, manage the features or menu options within clubs, and update how each club appears in search results and link previews.
Clubs are now available in all community dashboards. By default, each community can build 8 chapters and 4 interest groups to start. If you're scaling your clubs and need more options, reach out to the Gradual team.
Club Feature Visibility
This setting toggles the visibility of the module on or off in the community. If the toggle is 'off' the Clubs module will not appear in the community from the main menu, and if it is toggled 'on' any visible clubs will appear in the community from the main menu.
Note: The menu item on the front end in your community will only appear once there is at least one visible club in your dashboard.
š”Pro Tip: Keep the club feature 'off' and hidden while you are building and crafting the clubs, and then turn it 'on' when you're ready to launch this aspect of your community.
Module Name
You can customize the name of the module across the community and in the dashboard. The module name will be displayed on the main navigation bar of your community and will replace the name "Clubs" in other areas of the community and in the dashboard.
The name can be no more than 10 characters.
Club Management Settings
Configure the clubās management permissions for the club collaborators at the club admin level. This admin dashboard setting allows or blocks the club admins from assigning, removing, and changing club managers and club editors who are also granted permission in their club(s).
Grant Club Admins one of three levels of management settings:
š”Pro Tip: Grant club collaborators access and permission to make updates, create content, and host events with the club via Permissions. Learn more about how to assign these permissions and what these club collaborators can do here.
In-club features
Define the features or modules clubs can use and determine if they can customize the features' visibility within the defined scope.
Customize the features available for your clubs to add, create, and display in their clubs by selecting the 'Edit' button and toggling on or off each of the features.
Settings here affect the admin dashboard and the club collaborator dashboard. Features that are disabled here cannot be turned on in any dashboard - admin or club collaborator.
Member Count
You have the ability toggle on/off member and event counts at the club and interest group level in the club settings tab.

Club Feature Controls
Decide if each club can customize the visibility of the above features from within their General Info settings.
If toggled 'On' this will allow dashboard admins and club admins to control the visibility of each feature from within their club settings
If toggled 'Off' the clubs will not be able to control the visibility of each feature from within their club settings.
A use case for this would be if all clubs displayed their members, except for one exclusive Private club. If this setting was enabled, the admins could decide that members were hidden in that one club by removing that feature from displaying in the club.
Club SEO Settings
Club admins and club managers can update how an individual club appears in search engines and when shared externally. This setting is available for all club types, including chapters and interest groups.
From the clubās Settings area, open Club SEO Settings to customize the following:
Page Title
By default, the page title uses the current club name. You can enter a custom title or restore the default club name at any time. Titles can be up to 100 characters.
Description
By default, the description uses the club introduction. You can enter a custom description or restore the default club introduction. Descriptions can be up to 160 characters. If this field is left empty, the community description will be used instead.
Social Sharing Image
You can use the default image or upload a custom image for sharing.Default: uses the club cover image when one is available. If the club does not have a cover image, Gradual uses the community social sharing image.
Custom Upload: uses an uploaded image instead of the default image selection. The recommended image size is 800 x 450.
Saved SEO settings apply to the club page using this priority order: custom title first, then club name; custom description first, then club introduction; custom sharing image first, then the default image logic above.
Editors can view this area but cannot make changes.
