This guide explains how to add members to clubs, manage club members and notes where to see club permissions.
Adding Club Members via the Dashboard
Add club members directly from the club dashboard.
Note: Members added this way will not receive a welcome email or notification from Gradual.
Add Members One by One
Select the club where you’d like to add members.
Open the Members tab inside the club dashboard.
Click + Add Club Member (upper right).
Enter the member’s email address.
The person needs to be a member in the community before they can be added in the club
Click Next to save.
For secret or private clubs, this is the only way to add members. Public clubs allow members to join the club via the front end.
Add Members via Segment Member List
You can also bulk import members using a segment list the community admin has built in the dashboard.
The segment must be created by the community admin before importing
Select the club where you’d like to add members.
Open the Members tab.
Click Import from Segment (upper right).
Choose the segment list you’d like to import.
Only one segment can be imported at a time.
Click Next and confirm all members listed.
Select Start Import.
The system will process the import and send you an email confirmation. Existing club members will be skipped automatically, and no users will be notified when they're added via this method.
Remove Club Members
To remove members, you will navigate to the Members tab and select 'Remove' in line with their name. They will not be notified of this action.
Manage Club Members
At any time, you can see all members of the club from the Members tab. You can sort and filter this list, see the members' detailed profiles, and also export the list of members.
Club Permissions
Club admins can view who has Club collaborator access under the Permissions tab.
Club admins cannot grant additional permissions. Only dashboard admins can assign or modify club-level permissions.
