Club Announcements

Use Club Announcements to share important updates with club members through the Notification Center.

Club Announcements allow club admins to publish updates to club members directly from the club. Published announcements are delivered to members through the Notification Center, making it easy to share important information in a consistent, visible place.

Access Club Announcements

Club admins can access Club Announcements from the club’s admin menu.

From there, admins can:

  • create a new announcement

  • save an announcement as a draft

  • publish an announcement

  • review past announcements

Only club admins can create and publish announcements.

Create an announcement

To create a new announcement:

  1. Open the club admin view

  2. Select Announcements

  3. Click Create Announcement

  4. Enter a Title

  5. Add the announcement Content

  6. Choose Save Draft or Publish

Both the title and content are required to create an announcement.

Save a draft

If an announcement is not ready to send, select Save Draft.

Drafts can be reviewed and updated later before publishing. Saving a draft does not send a notification to members.

Publish an announcement

When the announcement is ready, select Publish.

Before the announcement is sent, admins will see a confirmation message explaining that eligible club members will receive the announcement in their Notification Center.

After publishing:

  • the announcement is saved to the club

  • delivery begins automatically

  • eligible members receive a notification in the Notification Center

Announcements are delivered in the background, so they may not appear for all members at the exact same moment.

Who receives announcements

Announcements are sent to all club members.

Member notification experience

When an announcement is published, members receive it in their Notification Center.

The notification:

  • remains visible until it is read

  • contributes to the unread notification count

  • opens the announcement when selected

This helps members return to important club updates at any time.

Announcement limits

To help keep communication manageable, Club Announcements include publishing limits for each club.

Each club can publish:

  • up to 3 announcements in a rolling 24-hour period

  • up to 10 announcements in a rolling 7-day period

These limits apply across the club and are shared by all club admins.

If the limit is reached, publishing is blocked until the limit window resets. Drafts can still be saved.

Best practices

Club Announcements are best used for updates that are relevant to the full club, such as:

  • event reminders

  • club schedule changes

  • deadline reminders

  • important club news

  • weekly updates

For clearer communication:

  • use a specific title

  • keep the message focused

Example use cases

Event reminder
Send a reminder about an upcoming club meeting with the date, time, and RSVP link.

Important update
Let members know that a meeting location, schedule, or deadline has changed.

Weekly club recap
Share a summary of recent activity and upcoming next steps in one place.
