Adding Event Permissions
Updated over a month ago

Gradual supports adding permissions so others can help configure specific events, but not have access to the entire community dashboard. These users are given access to the collaborator dashboard and only events where they have been added.

Permission Levels

There are three permission levels but all levels can edit details of the event, and moderate chat and Q&A.

Event Admin

This user has full access to edit, publish, unpublish or delete the event. They can export and import attendees, with access to user email addresses.

Event Manager

This user has full access to edit, publish or unpublish the event, but cannot delete the event. They can export attendee lists but do not have access to user email addresses.

Event Editor

This user has full access to edit the event but cannot publish, unpublish or delete the event. They cannot export or import attendees and do not have access to user email addresses.

Adding Event Permissions

The video below explains how to add event permissions, at different levels of access and some of the common use cases for doing so.

Note: You can grant up to 6 community members access to the event dashboard in Event Permissions.
