Email Notification Preferences

Members receive batch notifications by email when they have activity on their Forum posts, have been tagged, have an unread direct message(s), and to remind them when there is an upcoming event they're registered for.

At any time, members can change their preferences on the cadence of these notifications in their inbox. The email will be sent to the address associated with their account.

Notifications & Settings

Members can change their settings at any time by navigating to their avatar and selecting Notification Settings.

New Messages

They can select if, and when they receive batch email notifications when they receive new direct messages.

They will only receive an email if they have unread message(s) in the platform.

Forum Engagement

They can select if, and when they receive batch email notifications when someone has tagged them, made comments on their forum post, or someone replies to their Forum comment. These messages batch activity and are sent every three hours.

They will only receive an email if they have activity on their forum posts and comments or if they have been tagged using the mention feature.

Notifications of forum engagement can also be found in-platform from the upper right-hand side of their homepage.

Event Reminders

They can also select if they'd like to receive email notifications for events like reminders and post-event survey emails.

Event reminder emails follow these notification preferences. By default, the 1-day and 30-minute reminders are sent to attendees who registered themselves through the event registration flow. Event admins can also configure an event to send these reminders to all registered attendees, including attendees registered on their behalf.
